During the career guidance visit on April 16th, 2026, students and teachers from Nghia Thang Secondary School watched a video introducing the 50-year history of the College – a prestigious and prominent vocational training institution in the Central and Central Highlands. In addition, they were introduced to the College’s current training programs and received advice on career choices and orientation after completing secondary school.

Previously, on April 9 and 13, 2026, the College of Mechanic welcomed students and teachers of Nghia Dong and Nghia Lam Secondary Schools to visit the campus, explore the learning environment and receive career orientation after secondary school.

At each visit, Mr. Le An, Vice Rector of the College of Mechanic, introduced the College’s outstanding achievements, training programs, facilities, scholarship policies, and student support benefits. He also directly answered students’ questions regarding career choices for the future.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the College of Mechanic plans to enroll 200 college-level students and 450 intermediate-level students in high-demand fields such as Automotive Technology, Welding, Metal Cutting, Industrial Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Accounting, Office Informatics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and many others.

Students who have graduated from secondary school, have completed secondary school level, or graduated from high school are eligible to apply for 18 training programs currently in high demand by the labor market. Notably, secondary graduates receive 100% tuition exemption, while high school graduates enjoy a 70% tuition reduction in many key majors.
With just three years of study at the college, students who have graduated from secondary school can earn both a high school diploma and a college degree. After completing the intermediate level, students need only one additional year to obtain a college diploma and 2-3 years to complete university studies depending on the chosen field.

After graduation, graduates can access a wide range of career opportunities with monthly incomes ranging from VND 10 million to VND 25 million including: Automotive technicians at big car manufacturers (Toyota, Honda, VinFast); Welders for overseas employment (Japan, South Korea); Technical workers at industrial parks, Dung Quat Economic Zone in Quang Ngai province.
“The College always focuses on linking training with practical needs, strengthening vocational skills, and creating employment opportunities for students. Through experiential activities like today’s program, we hope to help students identify career paths that match their abilities and interests at an early stage,” Mr. Le An emphasized.

A highlight of the program was the practical tour of training workshops such as Industrial Electrical Technology, Automotive Technology, Office Informatics, and Welding as well as visits to the dormitory, football field, and functional facilities. Students also had the opportunity to experience modern equipment firsthand and join lively interactive activities. Many students confidently raised questions and interacted directly with lecturers to better understand the training programs, training environment, and employment opportunities after graduation.

The campus tours and career guidance programs not only provide secondary students with valuable information for choosing suitable future pathways but also demonstrate the College’s proactive approach in admissions and strenghthening connections with local schools.
